Appropriate Energy Inc. is the Parent Company of many affiliated companies as you will see thru out the course of touring this website.  The two most prominent  associated companies being Synergy Power Corp. of Hong Kong and Synergy Power Manufacturing of Malaysia. Appropriate Energy Inc. is headquartered in Nevada, USA.

A large percentage of the original product development and installations were performed under the banner of Synergy Power Corporation (Hong Kong), and affiliated companies within that group. Synergy Power Corp today holds and manages several exclusive wind turbine technology licenses  in the Asia region.

 As a matter of historical note important to the whole of the Small Wind Community and especially to the Remote Power Community in general, the 1st 10 complete Remote Area Power Systems installations completed by our group, were completed in 1988. These systems still operate well right up to today, with no more than routine maintenance involved.  Are there any other Remote Area Power Systems companies that can honestly say that, whether wind or other ?

 The first patents for our wind turbine technology were issued in 1984 in the USA to Ralph A. Belden.  Foreign Patents rights thereunder are issued in most manufacturing countries around the world. Improvement Patents are constantly in motion. Manufacturing is based on the ISO 9000 standards.

  AEI, currently has Licensed Distributors and or Installations in the following areas. Australia, Brunei, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the South Pacific Islands, United Kingdom and the USA.

 As the World Energy Demand Predictions are so large, more than US $25 billion annually in equipment alone, it was decided in 2003, that Manufacturing and Distribution Licenses for Developing Countries must be granted to help fulfill this huge demand for energy in the developing world.    All future Manufacturing, Distribution or Technology Licensing matters will be handled thru our office in Nevada, USA.  We look forward to discussing your needs with you.
