This mpeg file is a short video clip on how our patented furling mechanism reduces the swept area during extreme wind conditions. The clip was taken on a day when the average wind speed was 7m/s gusting to 15 - 18m/s. This furling method allows us to have a large swept area which in turn allows our wind turbines to capture maximum wind energy at low wind speeds. S20000.mpg This is a clip of our of our S20000 wind turbines generating power at Shek Kwu Chau in Hong Kong. The wind speeds are between 6-7 m/s during this clip. |
